Xbox Wire Just Announced Valorant Beta and Focus Shooting Mode
This game is so popular that it broke Twitch records with over 1.7 million concurrent viewers during its beta release, second only to the record set by the Fortnite black hole event. Now, Riot Games is going to expand its horizon within the Valorant console community.
The testing period for the Valorant console versions of the popular Riot Games shooter Valorant has officially expanded. As recently reported, Xbox Wire published a post about the Valorant console beta being available to all players with cutting-edge devices like the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
In the recent Xbox Wire article, it has been stated that Valorant on the console will be receiving some exciting mechanical tweaks. One new addition is “Focus,” a new shooting mode that replicates the PC’s “Hip Fire” but with a tune of sensitivity or lack of sensitivity. This is, of course, to ensure that console players experience a reversal and an exciting new form of play.
Valorant Console Beta will not feature cross-play with PC.
Early during this year’s Summer Games Fest, Riot Games already confirmed that Valorant would soon be available on next-gen consoles on June 14. However, some players found it harsh that there would be no cross-play between consoles and PC. This decision somewhat dispirited many of Valorant’s true fans, but it is arguably the right one.
As some features differ between the two platforms, controls and mechanics may also be subject to changes and tweaks, which is why cross-play is excluded. Perhaps later on, Riot Games will enable cross-play between PC and Valorant console players. Since the console beta was just launched a few weeks ago, it would be unfair to the console players if PC players were to disrupt the experience.
There are also not many great FPS games; that is why Riot Games is taking advantage of this opportunity and going all in by launching the Valorant console beta to all players with access to top variant consoles.
There Is No More Registration and Watchlist to Join Valorant Console Beta
As long as Valorant is currently available on consoles where you live, you can play in the Valorant beta console! For those who live in areas with no Valorant console accessibility, there is the option for a wishlist, you can connect your game account so, that once the game becomes available you quickly get the notification for invitation.
